CASology Week #239

Hellllllooo!  Doing the CASology Week #239 Challenge.  The cue word for this week is Landmark and for me home it struck a chord in that it took me such a long time to find my 'happy place' (it will be 2 years on May 2nd that I'll be married) at the ripe old age of 66!  Now that I know what happy feels like, the only way I can describe it is Joy!!

I used Bristol 100 lb. paper to stamp the house and then stamped 'home' and the rest of the sentiment, crossing out 'the' and using the Lawn Fawn alphabets to stamp 'my'.  I colored with watercolor pencils and Voila!

Materials Use:

  • Simon Says Stamp - Christmas Town
  • Derwent Watercolor Pencils
  • Lawnfawn - Harold's Alphabets
  • My Favorite Things - Wonky Stitched Rectangles
  • Close To My Heart -sentiment- Around the Block

  1. I love your interpretation of the cue word, Mary! Thanks for playing with us at CASology this week!

  2. Hey Mary!! Super cute card. I love the image and the ink splatters are awesome too. Thank you so much for playing with us this week at CASology.

  3. Home is my favorite landmark! LOVE your take on the cue Mary... clever and beautiful!
