Happy Sunday!  I'm in just under the wire, but the week got away from me.  Today I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge.  I created this card for a friend of my husband's with the request to make it snarky.  I think I met his guidelines (-:

To create this A2 card, I began by stamping the image on some watercolor paper and coloring with zig markers.  I initially used Bristol paper, but the color was just not moving around the way I wanted it to on the paper.  I found some colored paper that matched the blue and reminded me of a bad hospital gown and die cut a frame.  Then I die cut some fun foam and die cut another frame and adhered them together.  I stamped a sentiment from the same set that went along with the theme and die cut a little stitched fishtail piece and did the same with the patterned paper. I used some little starburst dies I found to add a little something to the card to finish it off.

It really went fast, and was fun to put together!

Materials Used:
  • Art Impressions - Crabby Get Well
  • My Favorite Things - Stitched Rectangle Frames
  • Pretty Pink Posh - Mini Tags
  • Papertrey Ink - Stargazer Addition (starbursts)
  • Not Sure Of The Paper
  • Zig Clean Color Markers
