Wishing You...

Hello and a Happy Post Eclipse Day!  I'm playing along with a new-to-me Die Cut Divas Challenge.  I just happened upon it and so much inspiration, it got my mojo going.  I created this card for my sister-in-law's birthday and started by die cutting a slanted rectangle panel on watercolor paper.  I stamped, masked and embossed the peony and leaves with gold embossing powder.  Next I pulled out my zig clean color markers and used a combination of lavenders to color the flower, pulling the colors and blending with water.  I used a combination of greens to color the leaves and filled the background in with some of the greens from the leaves and a bit of indigo in the corner.  Once dry, I stamped and embossed the sentiment and then splattered the panel, protecting the flowers.  I finished this off by adhering to some green cardstock and also die cut a green envelope liner from the same green cardstock.  Voila!  Thank you for reading this, and the materials used are listed below.
Materials Used:
  • My Favorite Things, Slanted Rectangles
  • Simon Says Stamp, Envelope Liner
  • Altenew, Peony Bouquet Stamp Set
  • Mama Elephant, Wishing You Stamp Set
  • Zig Clean Color Markers
  • Gold Embossing Powder
