Sharing a card for submission in the
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. I really liked making this one, and in spite of some flubs, it still turned out okay I think. I started with some glossy card stock cut down to fit on an A2 card. I used some die inks rubbed across an acrylic block spritzed with water and set it down on the card stock; pulling it up left me with some neat markings on the paper. Once it was dry I stamped the word 'Stars' on it. I also went ahead and stamped the supporting sentiments at the edges of the little rectangle. When I was doing this I left a big smudge with the black ink up in the right hand corner, so I cut the inlaid hearts to take care of that. I laid them in the two corners to balance it out. Thank you very much for reading. Materials used are listed below.
Materials Used:
- Some old photo glossy paper I had in my stash
- My Favorite Things, Count The Stars stamp set
