Doodling Waves

Happy Hello- just sharing a card here for the Altenew March Inspiration Challenge.  The colors this month were a challenge, for me, but here goes. I tried to use the colors and emulate a beach scene, and it's just plain fun to do the watercoloring.  I stamped the image and masked it a couple of times to act as waves, then white embossed it.  Next I used some Altenew inks to fit the required colors.  When I applied the tan ink I put some salt on the wet watercolor to achieve a textured look. While this was drying I painted some of the leftover pink and blue diluted ink on another piece of watercolor paper and then when it dried I die cut it from a stitched frame.  I adhered the waves panel to an A2 card base and then popped up the frame with some fun foam and put that over the waves.  For the sentiment I used more of the leftover colored watercolor paper and stamped the sentiment once in pink and then again with versamark and clear embossed that - cut it on an angle and adhered it to the finished card.  Thanks for reading this and the materials used are listed below:
