Irresistible Inking Techniques

Just finished the latest class, 'Irresistible Inking Techniques' in the Altenew Educator Certification Program.  The focus here was on using different ways to use your ink pads and reinkers.  To create this A2 sized card, I masked and stamped the images from the Altenew Build A Flower Anemone stamp set and gold embossed it.  I then used Distress Oxide Ink pads:  Broken China, Wilted Violet, Spiced Marmalade, and Peeled Paint to paint the images.  Once this dried, I stamped the sentiment from Altenew Painted Greetings and gold embossed that as well.  To finish the panel off, I splattered some spiced marmalade on it and die cut it with a rectangle die and lastly took some matching cardstock cut just a 'smidge' larger and adhered everything to a Bristol card base so that the whites would match upl

I'm also entering this card into the Altenew August Inspiration Challenge - click the picture below to be taken to the challenge.
